Obituary of Lois Missar

Please share a memory of Lois to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lois Missar, 90, of Vineland, New Jersey passed on June 1, 2020. Lois lived her earlier years in Aldan, PA and retired from Noel Schmitt Furniture and moved to New Jersey in 1977. Lois was preceded in death of her husband Paul Missar. Lois was an avid reader and gardener, she particularly loved peonies. She would never pass up a game or two of cribbage. Her two favorite sports teams were the Eagles and Phillies. If she was watching the games, she would say don't call me. She wanted to yell at the players. Lois is survived by her loving children, Linda DiMatteo, David Missar, and Kathleen Earle; her grandchildren, Julie, Hollie, Laura, Carrie, Sarah, Ryan, Christina, Heidi, and Paul, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Lois had a heart the size of the moon and an infectious laugh as well. She was loved by all who knew her. Her sense of humor, kind ways, and love for her family was never ending. She welcomed traveling with her family where new adventures would begin. Lois will be missed by all that came in contact with her. God made a wonderful mother, A mother who never grows old; He made her smile of the sunshine. And He moulded her heart of pure gold; In her eyes He placed bright shining stars, In her cheeks fair roses you see; God made a wonderful mother, And He gave that dear mother to us. Services will be held at a later date per the family. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the ASPCA or to St. Jude's Hospital. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
