Joe Artesi was my 7th science teacher in Pleasantville back in the 70’s. I used to love watching him do his moves after class dressed in his ghee. RIP Mr Artesi

Carol, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Joe was a great man and lived an extraordinary life over the years. It was my pleasure to get to know him as one of my patients, and in hindsight, my only wish was that I could have gotten to know him under different circumstances. I know I would have enjoyed training with him in my earlier years. May God bless you, watch over you, and give you peace during your time of grief.

My deepest condolences for your loss. I met Joe and his family back in the 70's after an open house at the school. That led to my working as receptionist, for about a year or so and also baby sitting for Joe Jr. I loved both jobs, but even more I relished the chance to spend time with Joe and his family. I have often told my husband stories from that time and how much being around Joe, the school and his family mean't to me. Rest in peace, Joe and thank you for the friendship of you and your family many decades ago..it made a lasting impression on my life. Warmest regards.... Bobbie Bailey-George

A terrible loss and he will be so missed. He was my Biology teacher at BHS and he was the best. He truly was a great man with a heart of gold. Fly high Joe Artesi as you definitely earned your wings.

My deepest condolences to his wife and family. Sadly I myself never had the privilege of being one of his students. His reputation preceded him. I remember going to see his demonstration as a young boy. My father was fortunate enough to know him personally. I knew him through my father's stories of knowing him. He taught my father some self defense. My father did share his knowledge and lessons he had learned from him. I remember he was always friendly. It was always nice talking with him. Once again I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Please forgive my post [sometimes I am not good at finding the proper words].
Rest In Peace Sir
