Michael A. Franchetta, 32, of Pittsgrove, NJ passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020] in Pittsgrove, NJ. Mike was born in Vineland, NJ to Albert M. Franchetta and MaryAnne (DeLorenzo) Franchetta on December 19th, 1987. He went to Vineland High School. Mike worked as a Mate for Captain Robbins Fishing & Cruising every summer off and on for 10 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, the beach and spending time with his family. Mike was a Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies fan as well as the Miami Dolphins. He loved his two pets Baron and Sheila. Mike is survived by his parents, Albert and MaryAnne Franchetta, grandmother (Betty Franchetta), brother John Franchetta and his wife Dana, Nieces/Nephews (Isabella Rose, John Anthony and Leigh Marie), his Uncle Joseph M. Franchetta Godparents, Sharon Simmons and Kevin Franchetta and his companion Shannon Bernek. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins He is preceded in death by his grandparents, [Albert W. Franchetta, John H. DeLorenzo and Anna Marie DeLorenzo]. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter 1244 N Delsea Dr, Vineland, NJ 08360 https://southjerseyregionalanimalshelter.org/donate/in memory/ Funeral services were private. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mike loved putting a smile on people's faces and was always willing to help, no matter the task.
