Robert P. Lorenzini, 78, of Landisville, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong resident of Landisville. Bob retired from the Landis ShopRite after 28 years of service. After retiring he was a crossing guard at Cleary Middle School. He was an avid Philly sports fan, enjoyed attending local high school sporting events and especially loved car races. As a young man Bob played the accordion in a band "The Downbeats". Bob was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his wife Fay, parents Dominic Lorenzini and Mary (Zorzi). He is survived by his sons: Keith (Nancy) of Wilmington, NC, and Brian (Susan) of Mays Landing, NJ. 4 grandchildren: Michelle and Daniel Lorenzini of Wilmington, NC and Brian and Dylan Lorenzini of Mays Landing, NJ. Sister-in-laws: Carolyn Bauman and husband Ed of Landisville, NJ and Phyllis Kaven of Margate, NJ and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Our Lady of Victories Church 202 NW Blvd. Landisville, NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Friends will be received on Monday at the CHURCH from 9am-10:45am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105 or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
