Obituary of Konstantinos Dambalas

Konstantinos "Dino" Dambalas, age 59, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on November 5th, 2020, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Dino was born on December 20th, 1960 in Kavala, Greece to Fotini (Papadaniil) and Angelos Dambalas. He came to the United States in 1978 to further his education. After graduating from Stockton University with a chemistry degree, he went on to pursue his career as a chemist for DuPont and Bristol-Myers Squibb. While affiliated with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dino has had scientific research published. As a soccer fan, he loved watching soccer matches with his sons, cousins, and friends. It was Dino's joy to coach soccer to his sons as well as watch as a parent from the sidelines. Dino is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn, of Marlton, NJ; two sons, Angelo and Konstantino; mother, Fotini Dambalas of Millville, NJ; sister, Katerina Kotopoulos and husband Athanasios Kotopoulos of Newtown Square, PA; two nephews, Milton and Fotios; and an abundance of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 13th, 2020 at St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Rd. Vineland, NJ from 9:30am to 11:30am, with a liturgical service at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Donations can be made to St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
