I am so sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing. We worked together for 5 years and I truly felt a connection with her. She was calm, kind and genuine, a trio of characteristics that aren't always that common. It was refreshing and soulful talking with Lorraine; a welcome change to the normal work rhetoric. Warm thoughts to Dennis and children over the loss of such an important force in their lives.

Lorraine was a part of our Family! Though we’ve not seen each other in a while, I always looked forward to seeing her at our gatherings. Something we decided to implement since many opted to work from home, then when Lorraine left it was definitely something needed. Lorraine’s warm friendly smile was so calming....She was always so considerate and truly concerned when sharing disturbing/sad information. When I lost my fiancé and 2 siblings, she comforted me when she noticed I was just having a bad day... I was crying up a storm...she made me feel better....She was truly be missed by THE TEAM!! I loved her dearly and she will always have a special part in my heart ❤️

Aunt Lorraine, you will truly be missed. I have fond memories growing up and sharing Thanksgiving holidays with my whole family in New Jersey. Aunt Lorraine ALWAYS had a bright smile on her face. I never remember hearing her yell in anger or say anything unkind. She had the sweetest spirit and the most peaceful demeanor. Sending love and continuing to pray for the family.
Love,
Christie Ruffin and Family

Sending all my love and heartfelt condolences to the family. I’m a friend of Jaime and Tim’s and have had the pleasure of being in Mrs. Wilson’s company a few times over the years. She and I share the same first name, Lorraine, and I couldn’t be prouder of that. Many blessings to you all.

I’ve never met anyone with a smile as bright as Lorraine’s. We met when we were both 16 and became instant friends. She adored and admired her sister Jackie and nurtured, protected and traveled just about everywhere with baby sister Beverly, who was an honorary member of our clique. Her family has always been the most important aspect of her life. Even more so once she and Dennis started a family of their own.
As often happens during high school, there were difficult times among a bunch of teenage girls trying to find themselves. I fondly remember Lorraine as the one who never took sides, never judged and always did what she could to keep the peace. Gossip and drama were not in her DNA as I remember, even though she was spirited and adamant in her beliefs. She didn’t back down from anything, but also had no time for foolishness. If she was your friend, that was it… period. I saw Christ in the love Lorraine had for all of us, long before I knew what being a Christian was all about. She was funny, eclectic, adventurous, kind, caring and the person everyone wanted to hang with. My daughter was born a few months after Jaime, and it’s heartwarming to know that the two of them are still in contact, although living several states apart.
I last spoke with Lorraine in September, and not once did she complain about anything. She was upbeat and hopeful as we reminisced, promising each other to do a better job of keeping in touch. She told me about the plans she and Dennis had to relocate. Her excitement over a new chapter was contagious and I was thrilled for her. Regrettably, I never got the chance to tell Lorraine how much I appreciated her friendship during those trying teenage years. I pray God that I remember to share that and more with her when we see each other again, which we will. I know that I am not alone when I say that in my heart she is not gone and will never, ever be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend. Rest in peace.

I have always wondered where i got this idea that I could change the world with just love !?? In my very last conversation with my Aunt Lorraine , she spoke to me in great detail and told me our purpose here is to let God use us and spread love wherever we can and wherever we go ! She then said , “ I don’t know why this is so complicated for people but this is what we’re supposed to do ! It’s what God wants us to do !” In that moment , I realized where my ideology and the beginning of my quest was born ! Praise God ! It’s funny , I always asked God what was my purpose and how can I share it with the world ! I’m speechless to realize that my Aunti saw my purpose and nurtured it waaaaay before I saw or understood myself ! She gave me so many gifts over a lifetime . This one , saved my life ! Honestly and truly saved my soul ! Thank you Aunt Lorraine , until I see you again and I know I will , Rest in Paridise ***
