With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kiriaky Kanos of Vineland, NJ. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16th after battling with Covid-19.
Kiriaky was born on the Island of Famagusta Cyprus in Greece and settled in Vineland, NJ. She was a graceful homemaker who loved to bake, cook and spend time with her family and friends. She was involved with all church activities, including the Greek festival, where you would always find her at the pastry tent.
Kiriaky is survived by her loving husband, Kostas Kanos; her children, Jimmy Kanos (Aliki); daughter, Mary Frangomihalos (Michael) and her many brothers and sisters in Greece and Cyprus. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Kostas and Emily Kanos and Ioannis and Kostantinos Frangomihalos.
She is predeceased by her parents, Christos and Maria Kardanas.
Family and friends are invited to the graveside service and burial on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 12pm at Siloam Cemetery, 550 N. Valley Ave., Vineland. Donations may be made to St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Rd. Vineland, NJ 08360. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
