Carmen Matilde Matos Hernandez, 87 of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso Matos Lopez and Vicenta Hernandez Laboy. Carmen graduated from UPR and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Master Degree in Liberal Arts. She retired from her teaching career in 1992.
She was predeceased by her husband, Midas Robles Sanabria Sr. and a son, Francisco Solis.
Carmen is survived by five loving children, Anibal Robles (PR), Midas Alfonso (NJ), Wendy Lopez (NJ), Felipe Robles (FL), Carmen Moises (NJ); eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 9am to 11am with funeral services to follow at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
