Rev. Miguel Angel Rosado, 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Miguel was born on December 31, 1935 in Morovis, Puerto Rico to the late, Julia Otero and Heraclio de Leon Rosado. He moved to Bronx, NY and then to Jersey City, NJ. Miguel met his loving wife, Ana Rosa Martinez, who was also known as his "Queen". They shared 56 special years together.
Miguel was a devoted husband and father who worked hard to take care of his family. Miguel was known as a radio broadcaster, a singer, and a songwriter. He enjoyed playing his instruments, especially his Italian accordion. His favorite job was being a school bus driver for Vineland for over 8 years.
Miguel was a missionary, traveling with his family to preach the Word of God. He attended Iglesia De Dios Juan 3:16 in NY City, where he graduated from Theology in 1982. Rev. Rosado became a pastor and continued his ministry for over 13 years at Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo El Rey in Jersey City, NJ. Rev. Rosado moved to Vineland, NJ in 2001, where he became a member at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal Puerta de Refugio and continued his ministry with his wife, Ana, for 20+ years.
Rev. Rosado was predeceased by his loving wife, Ana (2019) and his son, Jimmie Lopez (2019).
He is survived by his children, Gladys Lopez, Star Lopez, Annette Vargas (Luciano), Jacqueline Rosado, Marilyn Roberti (Anthony), Michael Rosado (AnnaMaria), Ivette Miranda (Jose), Rosalind Bailey (Charles); 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He's also survived by his sisters, Carmen, Concepcion, and Angela, and his brothers, Sgt. Pedro De Leon,(deceased), Rev. Agustin De Leon, Rev. Daniel De Leon, and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 12:30pm to 1:15pm, followed by funeral services at 1:15pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave, Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
