Michele Amira, a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend to all, unexpectedly lost her battle to Covid on January 9, 2021. Michele was born on July 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. She later moved to Newfield, NJ, and lived out the rest of her life in Vineland, NJ.
She spent her life as a cosmetologist and later found a love for helping children as a teacher's assistant.
For those who knew Michele, she was known to be an accomplished artist who was passionate about baking and cooking for her loved ones, and crocheting a blanket, hat, or outfit for anyone. Most importantly, she loved spending her time with her family, friends, and pets.
She is received in death by her beloved husband, James Davis.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria Amira; her children, Steven Cohen, Marcy Cohen, and Belinda and David Notaro; grandchildren, Chelsea, Isabella, Matthew, Ayden, Oliva, and Avery; siblings, Mark and Donna, Peter, Michael and Toni; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
MIchele was a woman known for her compassionate heart as well her generosity. She could light up a room for her infectious laugh and beaming smile. She loved making memories and jokes with her friends and as well as loved ones. Michele will continue to live through her art, her stories, her baking and the impact she had on those around her.
Michele's celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2pm at Alliance Cemetery, Norma, NJ. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
