Obituary of Anna Gabriel

Anna Gabriel, 82 of Vineland, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013, after losing the fight to a double by pass surgery. Anna was born in Frankfort, N.Y. on September 7, 1930. She was raised in Rosenhayn, N.J., and spent her adult life in Vineland, N.J. with her husband and family. She retired from the Vineland Public School System where she worked as a food service worker for many years. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, remodeling her homes, and most importantly, spending the last eight years of her life with her great granddaughter Sophia Grace Nelson, whom she loved dearly. She is predeceased by her loving husband James Gabriel, her parents, Coraldo and Anna Speranza, her brothers, Samuel and Carl Speranza and her sister, Antoinette Braccia. Anna is survived by daughters, Kathleen DiBiase & Vincent, Natalie D'Agostino & Ronnie, and Lisa Gabriel. Her grandchildren, Christopher DiBiase, Doug Grose, Jennifer Nelson & Remy, Billy DiBiase, Theadora Marcantonis & Brian, Dawn Buglio & Brian, and Ronnie D'Agostino and her great granddaughter, Sophia Grace Nelson. Her brothers and sisters, Gina DiLeonardo & Angelo, Josephine Henderson, Joseph Speranza & Barbara, Charles Speranza, and Rita Piccone & Frank. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, Vineland. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rosenhayn. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 9am to 10am at the CHURCH. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
