Obituary of Richard G. Franklin

Richard Garrison Franklin (Smalls, Rick, Ricky Dick), 43, of Pittsgrove, NJ, passed away suddenly on January 3, 2021 in Franklinville, NJ. Richard was born in Woodbury, NJ to Sandra Lee Novack (Franklin) on March 12, 1977. He went to high school at Camden County Voc. Tech. and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Ryder for almost 3 years. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outside riding his quad, racing his S10, mudding and bonfires. He loved going to Atco and car shows. He also loved camping with his family, going out on the boat and working on his trucks and quad. Rick never thought twice about going and helping someone when they were stranded or had mechanical needs. Richard is survived by his significant other, Crystal Shaw and their son Jasper Franklin-Shaw and step son Damian Allen of Pittsgrove, NJ, Eric Franklin, Emmy Stecher, Kaylee Hendricks, Autumn Hendricks, Jayson Hendricks. He is also survived by his mother Sandra Novack (Franklin) and her husband Dan, his sisters Desari and Crystal, his brother Greg and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00-3:30pm with funeral service at 3:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S Lincoln Ave, Vineland, NJ.
