Milton Joseph Dragon, 99, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ.
Milton was born on February 25, 1921 in Dunellen, NJ to John and Elizabeth Dragon. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1947.He married the love of his life, Etowah (Edie), on February 23, 1943. Milton graduated from watch repair school and pursued jewelry repair for most of his life. He retired from RCA in Lancaster, PA where he was a lab technician. After retirement, Milton and Edie moved to Bessemer, Alabama where he was able to pursue his love of sailing. Milton was a real renaissance man. Tell him he didn't know how to do something and he would go out and learn to do it.
Milton is survived by his daughter Daryl and son William, and grandchildren Kevin, Todd and Cheyenne, and his great grandchildren, Eliana, Isabella, Josephine and Jesse. He was predeceased by his wife Edie and granddaughter Nicole.
Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in N. Hanover Township, NJ. Funeral services are private.
