Obituary of Jerry E. Stretch

Jerry E Stretch, age 58 of Leesburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly. Jerry was born in Millville on June 24, 1962 to the late Alfred and Edna (Catlett) Stretch. He grew up in Cumberland, before moving to Leesburg. Jerry worked as a Union Roofer and small engine repair. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring classic cars, and most of all, spending time with his family and grandchildren Dominic, Brianna, and The little guys, LJ and Rhett. Jerry is survived by the mother of his children, Donna Silvers; his children, Crystal L. Sayres and husband Charles of Leesburg, Jerry Stretch Jr. and wife Amanda of Millville, and Nathan J. Stretch of Bridgeton; four grandchildren, Dominic C. Sayres, Brianna M. Sayres, Jerry Stretch III, and Rhett B. Stretch; four sisters, Linda Tomlin, Lisa Camp, Denise Stretch, and Diane Stretch; four brothers, Alfred Stretch Jr., Larry Stretch, Kevin Stretch, and Kris Stretch. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Edna (Catlett) Stretch, and his brother, Gregory N. Stretch. Jerry will be greatly missed by many friends and extended family. A walk through viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 9am to 10:30am, followed by funeral services at 10:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S, Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
