Katherine M. "Kay" Hamilton, 96, of Bridgeton, passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2021 at Eagleview Rehabilitation. Katherine was born in Philadelphia, to Hall and Jessie Hamilton on December 11, 1924. She worked as a Physician's Assistant for many years. Following the Doctors retirement, she dedicated more than 25 years as a Switchboard Operator for Newcomb, Millville and Bridgton Hospitals. After retiring, she volunteered at Inspira Regional Medical Center and received many awards for her more than 3,500 Volunteer service hours. Katherine loved the great music of the bagpipes, stood at salute for a Marine and enjoyed Musical Operas, especially the comic opera, "The Pirates of Penzance". She treasured her family and friends. She enjoyed long drives with her granddaughters, Kathy and Karli, playing games with her great granddaughters, Katherine and Olivia and the companionship of her dog. She never refused the beach air, a good cup of coffee or a fine piece of chocolate. Katherine is survived by her daughter, Jessie K. Pindale of Vineland and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Bruce Hall Bryant Sr. Memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Nurses and Aides at Eagleview. Funeral service will be private. Katherine will be laid to rest with her mother and father at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
