Obituary of Miguel A. Mercado

Miguel Antonio "Tony" Mercado, 77, passed away peacefully February 14, 2021 after an extended illness. He was born in Utuado, PR, son of the late Miguel Mercado and Angelina Mercado. He is predeceased by his two siblings German Mercado and Luis Mercado. He is survived by his 6 children Moises Mercado (Claribel), Wilson Mercado (Jeanette), Crystal Hallman, Doris Mercado, Dolly Mercado and Antonio Mercado. He is also survived by his five siblings Nancy Mercado, Hector Mercado, Carlos Mercado, William Mercado, Ramonita Rosado (Clemente), and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Tony was a lifelong Phillies fan. He enjoyed driving his pickup truck around town and visiting friends, he loved Bachata music, and loved fishing but most importantly spending time with his grandchildren Jeremiah "Bebo", Moises "Little Moe", Noah, Yanelsie and Luka. He was known and loved by many. The family would like to extend an invitation for family and friends that knew Tony to celebrate his life on on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm with funeral services to follow at 3:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
