Zulma L. Cuevas (1956 – 2021) Vineland – Zulma L. Cuevas, 64, of Vineland, NJ passed away suddenly at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital on Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born on March 15, 1956 in Lares, Puerto Rico. Zulma is survived by her daughters, Ana F. Alvarado with her husband, Alfredo A. Alvarado, of Vineland and Julia T. Echevarria with her husband, Roberto Echevarria, of Minotola; step sons, Alexander Castro of Florida and Eliud Castro of Columbia of South America; grandchildren, Christopher E. Torres, Nais A. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Reyes and Carmen Ferillo; brothers, Pablo Velez, Jose Cuevas, Mario Velez and Anibal Velez along with many nephews and nieces. Zulma worked really hard to make a life that was filled with love and happiness while raising four children. As a homemaker, she enjoyed her family to the full extent by providing loving guidance to those surrounded by her. Zulma was a pure delight and exemplified unconditional love by loving family even if not blood related. Zulma also had a strong faith in God, praying every day for family, friends and acquaintances. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation for over 38 years and loved being of service to others. She loved cooking, making arts and crafts, playing cards, but most of all, she loved her family. She will be greatly missed but we will always benefit from her example. Due to the COVID pandemic and in consideration of everyone's safety, the family has decided not to have a viewing or memorial service at this time. The family request that you please be kind to someone. Call or write to a friend or relative you haven't reached for some time. Forgive someone. Do all acts of kindness and pay it forward.
