Minnie "Mickey" (Papiano) Ricci, 84 of Vineland, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the SJ Regional Medical Center. Born in Vineland, she was a lifelong area resident.
Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, shopping and her pet dog Chewy. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Mary (DeFalco) Sherma, 1 son, Vincent "Vinnie" Papiano, and 1 sister, Frances Sherma.
Survived by her husband of 30 years, Richard Ricci of Vineland
3 sons: George Papiano and wife Susan of Vineland
Henry Papiano and wife Maureen of Franklinville
Samuel Papiano of Pleasantville
2 daughters: Anita Curcio and husband Michael of Newfield
Philomena Papiano of Pleasantville
6 grandchildren: Heather, Thomas, and Henry Papiano
Annette Tomasso, Dana Marino, and Kelly Scapellato
11 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends will be received on Friday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland County S.P.C.A. 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360.
