Wayne C. Baker, Sr., 81 of Fairfield Township went to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on March 4, 2021.
Born in Camden, NJ to Francis & Dorothy Baker on March 2, 1940. Wayne grew up in Fortescue, NJ and graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1959.
He joined the US Coast Guard in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1963. He married Connie, the love of his life, on November 25, 1961.
Wayne worked as a mechanic at Horner Mack Trucks for 17 years. He then worked for Grace Oil as a mechanic for the next 30 years until retirement.
Wayne enjoyed boating, fishing, duck hunting and telling his stories.
Preceded in death by his wife Connie (2018), mother Dorothy, stepfather Joe Pugliese and father Francis along with his grandmother Viola Strack.
Survived by his son Wayne Jr., (Lisa), granddaughter Michelle (Asher), son James (Sue), stepsister Susan Baker, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ.
