Obituary of Howard J. Wells

Howard J. Wells, 94, of Vineland passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Eagleview Health Nursing Home. He was born in Ridgewood, NJ in 1927. He was predeceased by his father, Henry, and his mother, Sarah (Stanley), by all of his siblings, sister Virginia and her husband Josh Stanley, sister Missoura and her husband Robert Miller, sister Emma and her husband William Bue, sister Patience and her husband Charlie Pearson, sister Ruth and her husband William Valla, brother Eddie Wells, brother Frank Wells, and his beloved cousin, Robert Stanley of NY. He was also predeceased by his wife, Gladyce (Bach) of 45 years, and in 2017, by his wife, Betty-Jean (Hoppe). He is survived by Frank's wife, his sister-in-law, Kathleen Wells, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends and neighbors. The family would like to send its deepest, heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Eagleview Nursing Home for the wonderful care that was given to Howard during his stay and for the sincere compassion that you have shown. You are all truly appreciated! A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 noon at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland, NJ.
