Obituary of Evelyn A. Valderrama

Evelyn Aurora Valderrama, 73, of Vineland New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday April 21st, 2021, at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Evelyn was born in Ciales Puerto Rico to Pablo and Alberta Valderrama on September 28, 1947. She went to high school at Kensington High School for girls and graduated in 1965 as an honor student. After high school she went to work as a dental assistant. Before retirement she worked as a claim processing specialist for Prudential Insurance Co. She enjoyed singing and dancing to her favorite 60's music. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Nelson Rivera Jr, Andre A Rivera, and Luis A Lozada, all from Vineland; Sisters, Milly Vidro from Milville, Adis Principe, Eva Nidya Ruiz, from Philadelphia and Anita Morales from Puerto Rico; Grandchildren, Bianca M Rivera, Andre A Rivera II, Luis A Lozada II, Justin L Rivera and Jeremias Rivera all from Vineland; Great grandchildren, Josue A Adorno, Eliana Carter, Natalia L Rivera, Luna A Lozada and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her life partner Pedro A Lozada, brother Paul Valderrama, grandson Rodney Rivera, father, Pablo Valderrama, mother, Alberta Valderrama and nephew Milo Vidro Jr, and great nephew, Alex Principe. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 10:00am to 10:45am, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:00am mass at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery Vineland, N.J.
