Obituary of Eva Mae Coslop

Eva "Eve" (Wilhelm) Coslop passed away on April 30, 2021, a few weeks before her 90th birthday. She was born to Vernon and Evelyn (Meeks) Wilhelm of Vineland, NJ and was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1949.
Active and energetic well into her eighties, her working career included long-time positions as Secretary to the Administrator of Newcomb Hospital, Personal Assistant to the late Ben and Magda Leuchter, and Executive Assistant to the late Sheldon Goldberg of Cumberland Brokerage Corp.
Eve was a generous free spirit. She saw the good in everyone and gave without hesitation to anyone in need, including strangers. She had a green thumb, witnessed by all who visited her Rainbow Lake A-frame. A few of the many things she enjoyed were social gatherings, writing, decorating, the seashore, ice cream, and especially dancing.
In addition to her parents, Eve was predeceased by her daughter, Debra McAllister; son, Terry Coslop, and grandson, Sean Harker.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Todd) Payne of Chadds Ford, PA, Barbara (Bruce) Lepore of Upper Deerfield, NJ, and Eric (Sandy) Coslop of Upper Deerfield, NJ; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Robert McAllister and Valerie Coslop of Greenwich, NJ, and brothers, Randy (Susan) Wilhelm of Birmingham, AL and John (Dorothy) Wilhelm of Vineland, NJ. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland from 11am to 1pm, with funeral services at 12:30pm. Masks and social distancing are required. Burial will be private. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
