Obituary of Daniel A. Diaz

For those who don't know, Daniel Diaz "Danny" was tragically taken away by a drunk driver while doing the thing he loved the most, riding his bike on April 29, 2021.

Danny was a happy, kind kid, often called "Gentle Giant" by his mother, Aixa. Danny loved his family. He cherished hanging out with his brother, Jonathan and cousin, Romeo. Danny adored music, art and keeping up with the latest styles. He loved to attend church with his parents especially going out to eat with his parents and church family. Danny was handsome, full of love and life. He had a love for food. Danny loved many things but nothing more than cuddles with his Mom-mom "ma".

Danny was set to graduate Vineland High School this year. He had plans to celebrate his 19th birthday on May 24th.

He leaves behind his parents, Aixa Diaz-Soto and Angel Soto; his biological father, Carlos Cotto; Mom-mom "Ma" Mildred Rivera; grandmother, Clara Marshall, grandma, Luz Soto; brother, Jonathan Hernandez; cousin, Aka lil bro, Romeo Lorenzi; Tio Carlos Juarbe; Titi Lizbeth Diaz, Tio Alexis "Cheen" Lorenzi; aunt Lesly "Lela" Custodio; aunt Glori Soto; uncle Jorge Soto; cousins, Dakota, Mariah, Toni, Brook, Tati, Romeo and many more and family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 10am to 11:30am, followed by funeral services at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
