Genaro Jimenez, Jr., known as Jay, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Bishop McCarthy Residence with his sister, Nellie Lugo and brother, Carlos Jimenez by his side.
Jay lived in Vineland his whole life and graduated from Vineland High School in 1980. He worked for Larry's Diner on Landis Avenue as a chef for a couple of years until he became disabled in an automobile accident in 1984.
Jay was predeceased by his father, Genaro Jimenez, Sr.; and his brother, Richard Jimenez.
He is survived by his mother, Hilda Jimenez; his sister, Nellie Lugo and her husband Erasmo; his brother, Carlos Jimenez and his companion, Marisabel Torres; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
