Obituary of Matthew J. Meandro

Matthew J. Meandro,  49 of Vineland, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

 

A lifelong Vineland resident, he was a 1990 graduate of Vineland High School and of the ACC Culinary Arts Program. Matthew worked as a baker at Century Bakery, as a cook at South Vineland Tavern, in the dietary department of Spring Oaks Assisted Living, and most recently at Crust N' Krumbs Bakery. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed taking care of his yard and spending time outdoors. Mostly, Matthew loved working and being a baker.

 

He was predeceased by his father, Peter J. Meandro; his grandparents, Elizabeth and Pete Meandro, and Flora and Karl Haaf. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lynn Meandro; his brother, Martin Meandro; his uncle and aunts, Allen and Robin Haaf, Kathy Bischer, and Patty Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matthew's memory to Faith Bible Church, 3139 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361, or to a charity of one's choice.
