Obituary of Rose M. Fantini

Rose M. Fantini, 96, of Vineland, NJ passed away on July 12th, 2021 at home with her family. Rose was born on February 16th, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Barbetti) Donoflio, and sister of the late Marie (Fantini) Blevins and brother-in-law, Aubrey Blevins. She is survived by her husband, Michael, of 68 years. She was the devoted mother of three daughters, Donna Fantini-Boos, Darlene and Todd Weaver, and Debra and Bruce Chalow. Rose has six grandchildren, Jeffrey Friedman, Stephanie Friedman, Todd Weaver, Jr., Alyssa Fantini, Brandon Weaver, and Katlynne Weaver; nephew, Aubrey (Cookie) Blevins Jr and several nieces and nephews; one aunt, Marie Marolda and adopted family, Barbara and Jack Dyer and David and Michael Goffredi. She is also survived by her loving cat, Nova. Rose was employed at Colonial Applicator in Vineland where she met her husband. After they were married, she devoted herself to becoming a homemaker for her family. Rose enjoyed crocheting, doing puzzles with her husband, coloring and doing crafts. She also was a collector of bells and stuffed animals. Rose and her husband enjoyed visiting the casinos and walking the boardwalk. She enjoyed making pizzelles, gnocchi and baking holidays cookies. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 735 Union Rd., Vineland. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
