Obituary of Anthony L. Leatherwood
On Thursday, July 15, 2021, Anthony Leatherwood, passed away at the age of 33.
Anthony was born on September 26, 1987 in Vineland, NJ. He was raised in Franklin Township and attended Delsea High School.
Anthony had a very strong work ethic and was most proud when he was hired at his most recent job as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver at IBEW 351 working with Riggs Distler.
Anthony was always athletic, charismatic and extremely competitive. He loved football, street bikes, dirt bikes, lifted trucks and fast cars (Ford loyal). He always stood up for the less fortunate and the "little guy". He was fiercely loyal to his friends but especially to his family.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Amanda Leatherwood; daughters, Julianna and Amelia; brothers, Michael Keenan and Timothy Leatherwood; sister, Christina Keenan; mother, Michelle Brookins; father, Michael Keenan, many aunts and uncles (but was especially close to Michael John Schultz); many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Anthony was adrenaline seeking and exemplified what it meant to live life to the fullest. While Anthony loved his toys, his daughters were his EVERYTHING.
Family and friends will be received on Friday evening, July 23rd from 6pm to 8pm and again on Saturday morning, July 24th from 10am to 11:30am followed by funeral services at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton.
