Philomena Pettit (Ritondaro) of Minotola, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Philomena was born on January 26, 1936, and was raised in Vineland, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Ritondaro. She worked in retail sales from the age of 16 until she was 57. She loved going to the beach, being with family and friends playing dominoes and bingo. Philomena will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Mary Ann Lauermann (Walt) of Macon, Georgia, daughter, Joyce Pettit of Tuckahoe, New Jersey, daughter Debbie Lore (John) of Richmond, Virginia, son Walter Pettit Jr. (Linda) of Millville, New Jersey, daughter Sherry Rundstrom (Artie) of Farmville, Virginia, and daughter Terry Pettit of Minotola, New Jersey. She will also be missed by her 23 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Pettit Sr.; her son, Samuel Pettit; two sisters, Rosie Ritondaro and Anna Licari and her brother, Dominick Ritondaro. Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at DeMarco – Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Interment will follow at the Head of the River Cemetery in Tuckahoe. Please be advised that face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
