Jacqueline (Curliss) Pierson, 64, passed away on August 22, 2021 peacefully at Inspira Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Jacque was born in Vineland and resided here all of her life. She attended Vineland Public Schools, graduating in 1974. She then went on to Glassboro State College, graduating in 1978 with a BA in Elementary Education. Jacque taught at the Haleyville-Mauricetown Elementary School in Commercial Township for over 30 years. She was married to the love of her life, Ron, for over 30 years. They spent many enjoyable years at their shore home in Ocean City. They also loved going out to lunch, league bowling, walking for their health and spending time with their cats over the years. They also dedicated time for Rotary and Boy Scouts' causes. In the last few years, Jacque was a loving and dedicated caretaker for her husband until his passing in June of 2021. Jacque was predeceased by her parents, John E and Margaret (Pelosi) Curliss; her husband, Ronald E. Pierson and her sister, Paula Curliss. She is survived by her brother, Gregory (Ginny); nephew, John C. and numerous cousins. Funeral services and burial are private per Jacque's request. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Donations may be made to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360 in her name.
