Joseph Brian Volk, 54, owner of Corbin Volk Interiors, died in Richmond, VA on Sunday, July 18, 2021, after a four-year courageous fight with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Leukemia.
Known by his friends and clients as Corbin, he is survived by his partner of 10 years, Matt; his two daughters, Carley (Jess) and Jody; granddaughter, Grace, and puppy CeCe.
Predeceased by his beloved mother, Pauline and his German Shepard Cody.
Corbin was cherished by his uncle, Lou Vasile (Claire); cousins, Lou Vasile, Alice Vasile-Wenger (Dave), Bill Vasile (Kim) and Susan Vasile, as well as many friends, neighbors, business colleagues and clients. He will be missed by his friends who were like family to him including Antoinette, Wade, Christine, Teresa and Terry, Carmel, Janon, Kathy, Charlene and David, Sara, Brenda and more.
Corbin’s gift of creativity, inspiration and dedication to design was respected and enjoyed by so many.
Private interment services took place in Vineland, NJ on September 11, 2021. Donations in his name, Joseph Brian Volk, can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org. Many thanks to the medical team, palliative care unit, doctors, nurses, and staff at VCU Medical Center and Hospice, Richmond, VA. Cremation in care of Bliley’s Funeral Home, Richmond, VA, and interment services in care of DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ. and conducted by Albert Moir, Minister.
