Albert "Al" Mongeluzzo, Sr. age 91, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, after fighting a heroic battle with kidney disease. Albert was born in Malaga, New Jersey on May 08, 1930. He graduated from Clayton High School in 1947. After high school, he continued to work on his family farm in Malaga. After his father retired, he started a successful contracting business, Al's Roofing, Siding & Windows, in which he operated until his retirement in 2006. What Albert loved the most was being with his family. He loved to cook old fashion Italian recipes, (Tomato sauce, pasta, Easter pie, etc.) He also loved his animals, present and past. His new little boy cat Dexter, and his past pets, Zeke, Max and especially Neo. Albert was a loving man and would help anyone in need. In his past time, Albert enjoyed watching the Phillies. In his teens and 20's he was a superb baseball outfielder for the Malaga Baseball team along with his brother John as catcher. Before his health declined, he also loved to hunt and fish. Albert is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Carmella Mongeluzzo; brothers, Mike, Pasquale and John; his sisters, Angelina, Florina, Rose, Emilia, Louise, Mary and Helen. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Arlene (Evans) Mongeluzzo; children, Roseann and her daughter Nicole, Albert Jr. and wife Andrea and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
