Carmine "Carmen" A. Vasaturo, Sr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 with his family by his side. He was a resident of Vineland all of his life. Carmen is the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Taibi) Vasaturo. Carmen worked at T & K Shell Station and 35 years at Hartley's Garage. He was also in the National Guard as a tank mechanic for ten years. Carmen loved the outdoor's, camping, hiking, mountain climbing, repeling, motorcycle riding and drag racing. Carmen also was a great cook and loved by everyone. Carmen was a great husband, father, pop-pop, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marcia (Hyman); daughter, Lisa A. Giordano; sons, Carmen A. Jr., and Brandon A., all of Vineland; granddaughter, Laura A. Carucci and husband Frank from Pa; sister, Charlotte (Vasaturo) Hardrick; brother-in-law, Luke all from Vineland, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends. He will be missed by his loving dog Menta, who he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary and brother, Robert A. Vasaturo. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 8th and Wood Street, Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Friends will be received on Saturday at the CHURCH from 8am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church and Cumberland Co. S.P.C.A., 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360.
