Obituary of Cathy Lynn Lykowski

Cathy L. Lykowski (of Mays Landing, NJ formerly of Vineland, NJ) went to be with God and her late husband, Terry M. on October 29, 2021 after a ten-month battle with Cancer. She was born on May 18, 1948 and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she grew up and attended nursing school. She made her way to eastern Pennsylvania where she met and married her husband of 40 years. She worked in Vineland with VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) as a nurse then, a supervisor of the visiting nurses. She was dedicated to Sacred Heart Church and the Parish of Christ the Good Shepherd, in helping do blood pressure checks, cleaning linens and lending a hand where needed. A crafter at heart, Cathy always made a special something for everyone, even if it was one of her famous painted rocks. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother cherishing every moment with her family. After the passing of Terry, Cathy met and become a loving partner to David Ingraham of Vineland. David cared for and loved Cathy until God called her Home. David and Cathy, with their dogs, "the Bella's", found comfort with one another over the last four years. Cathy is predeceased by her husband, Terry M. Lykowski; her father, Henry Naldony; her mother, Katherine Naldony (Pfiefer), and brother-in-law, James Lykowski. She is survived by her son, Daniel L. Lykowski and his wife, Courtney L. Lykowski (Shultz) of Mays Landing; grandchildren, Kiralyn and Daniel James; brother and sister in laws, Mary Kay and Douglas Fell, Susan and Chuck Murphy; nieces, Christine Murphy- husband Michael and children Julia and Mathew, Elizabeth Murphy – husband Nate, Sarah Fell- husband Michael, and Meghann Fell- husband Steve and daughter, Naevy; nephew, Douglas James Fell- wife, Natalie. Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 10:30am to 11:15am, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:30am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Cathy will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
