Beverly A. Newsome, 80, of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Beverly is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Lewis Newsome Sr., brother, Russell Sheldon; brother-in-law, Frankie Griffin and two sons-in-law, George Virgil and Jeffery Wetzel. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Jane Griffin and Debby Adams and her fiancé Jimmy Crunetti; sister-in-law, Alice Sheldon; her children, Lewis Newsome Jr. and wife Karyn, Lori Wetzel, Russell Newsome, Ed Newsome and wife Christine, Carol Boscola and husband Michael and Shelly Virgil; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Beverly was the happiest when taking care of her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed going to the casino and traveling to see family and friends in California, Las Vegas, Tennessee and North Carolina. Beverly also enjoyed reading her western romance novels and watching her favorite TV shows. She loved her Dunkin Donuts coffee and a Wawa pretzel. She had a profound love for Elvis, even though he made her cry. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, with funeral services at 5:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S Lincoln Ave, Vineland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
