Obituary of Julia R. Soto
Julia Soto, of Vineland, affectionately known as "Cusa" was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away suddenly on December 28,2021 at the age of 61, surrounded in prayer by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living a life of service and gratitude.
Cusa was born to Marcelina Colon and Joseph Lopez on August 08,1960 in New York. She eventually moved to New Jersey where she began her life and family, later she met and married her husband Henry Soto on February 03,2004.
Cusa was never happier or more at peace then when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It was when she was surrounded by family that her personality and character fully shined through. Passionate, loving, kind and genuine the room always felt warmer whenever she was in it. Her presence was calming and her words were always supportive and encouraging, never judgmental.
Cusa enjoyed simple pleasures that brought her great joy and fulfilment. She was a fierce and dedicated follower of Jehovah's Witness and spent much of her time developing her relationship with him. When was not studying, Cusa could be found listening and dancing to Salsa music or using her crafty skills to add beauty to everyday life.
Cusa is survived by her husband Henry Soto, her children Rodney, Erica, Seneca, Nicholas and Natalie her mother Marcelina Colon, 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters Joseph, Mickey, Brenda, Angie, Cary, Tata and Jessie and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue Vineland,
