Obituary of Bernardo Rodriguez

Bernardo Rodriguez-Sanchez a.k.a. Louis Angel of Vineland, NJ passed away on Tuesday afternoon February 8, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico and was a lifelong resident of Vineland, NJ. Bernardo was employed at the Claridge Hotel and Casino for over 25 years and at Manischewitz for over 25 years before his retirement at the age of 70. He enjoyed playing dominoes and watching his favorite sports teams the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys as well as spending time with family and friends. Bernardo is predeceased by his wife, of 51 years the late Silvana Maldonado of Vineland; his brother, affectionally known as Cheo of Puerto Rico; the late Ezekiel Calderon of Vineland; the late Angel Luis of Puerto Rico; son, Jose Parrilla; stepchildren, Hilda Parrilla, the late Ruth Walker, Juan Walker, the late Jimmy Walker, the late Robert Walker, Luz Ortiz, Luis Walker, Angel Walker, Marvin Walker, Ivonne Walker and Evelyn Cortez; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 3pm-4pm with a funeral service at 4pm and on Monday from 10am-11am with burial following at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Family requests that everyone must wear a mask.
