Obituary of Israel Arbona, Sr.

Israel "Izzy" Arbona Sr, 65, of Vineland, NJ passed away on April 3, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Utuado, PR on May 5, 1956, son of the late Bartolo Arbona and Lydia Garcia. He was a 1975 graduate of Vineland High School and worked many years as a counter salesman for Ace Plumbing and Weinsten Supply. He had recently retired from counter sales and was employed part time at Rossi Honda.

Israel was blessed with a large and loving family. He enjoyed spending time with them all. He was an avid softball player for many years and enjoyed playing and watching his softball family do what he loved.

Israel was survived by his four children, Tania Rodriguez (Eddie), Israel Arbona Jr (Jackie), Nadia Arbona (Macho) and Jaclyn Arbona; eight grandchildren, Christian Arbona, Jazzlyn Rodriguez, Justin Arbona, Krystalyn Rodriguez, Julian Arbona, Nialyn Lopez, Elena Lopez, and Jacob Lopez; brother, Tony Arbona and a sister, Iris Mary Arbona.

Israel was predeceased by his parents, Bartolo Arbona and Lydia Garcia and 3 brothers, Bartolo (Tite), Manuel (Manolo), and Jose (Cano) Arbona.

Family and Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by funeral services at 11am at DeMarco – Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
