Francisco Melendez, [84], of Margate, Florida passed away on March 26, 2022 at Vitas hospice hospital in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Francisco was born on November 25, 1937, in Puerto Rico to Patricio Melendez and Juanita Torres. Francisco grew up in Puerto Rico & Vineland N.J.
Francisco joined the Army and served for 4 years and was honorably discharged. He retired at age 65, in Vineland NJ
He enjoyed listening to music & enjoyed being a DJ. He loved to paint for people.
Francisco was preceded in death by his children & his Uncle Angel Ortiz.
Francisco is survived by his children, Luis, Danny, Angelica and Diana. His sister Ritza Melendez & brother Alex Melendez. Grandchildren; Logan & Angelika; his great-grandchildren; Emma. Riley, Kenneth & Evangeline.
A gathering of family and friend will be held on Friday April 8, 2022 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm with a funeral service to follow at 5:30pm at DeMarco Luisi - Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ.
