Obituary of Haralampos Kanos

Haralampos "Harry" Kanos, 66 of Vineland, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at the SJ Regional Medical Center. Born in Chios, Greece, he moved to the United States in 1969 and came to Vineland. He was owner and operator of the Spaghetti Palace and also worked as a cook for the Presidential Diner and the Neptune. He was a member of the Diamond Social Club and the AHEPA Greek Organization. Harry enjoyed going to the casinos and being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Despina (Lamprinouka) Kanos of Vineland 2 sons: Manny Kanos and his wife Angela of Franklinville Stamatios Kanos of Vineland 4 grandchildren: Haralampos "Bobby", Nicholas, Lukas, Haralampos "Harry" 2 brothers: Dimitros and Kostas Kanos both of Vineland Many nieces and nephews A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11am at St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Road, Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the church from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
