Obituary of William Hodges, Jr

Bill Hodges 78 of Absecon, NJ passed away on July 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a stroke survivor for 26 years. Bill always kept a positive attitude and a sweet smile. Bill was born in Robbinsville, NC to the late Walter and Mattie Hodges on August 27, 1943. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1961 and went on to attend Cumberland County College. Bill worked as a produce broker for his own company, Bill Hodges and Sons for 30 years. Bill enjoyed spending his free time coaching baseball in Vineland, NJ and Brigantine, NJ. Bill also enjoyed boating and kayaking with his sons and grandsons. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, never missed a game! Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Geri (Giglio); sons, Keith Hodges of Absecon, NJ, Kevin Hodges Hodges (Jacki) of Galloway, NJ and Kurt Hodges (Melissa) of Cape Coral, Fl; his best friend, son/grandson and caregiver, Shane Hodges; grandchildren, Zachary, Mason and Alexa; siblings, Barry Hodges (Robin) of Paulsboro, NJ, Beth Biscoglio (Mike) of Vineland, NJ, John Hodges (Vera) Riverside, CA and David Hodges (Sharon) Egg Harbor Township, NJ and many cousins. A private Ceremony and Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
