Neftali "Tali" DeJesus, Sr., 76, retired owner truck driver, of Vineland, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving wife and sons, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Tali was born September 6, 1945 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, and spent most of his life in Vineland. He was a self-employed truck driver for 53 years before his retirement. Tali loved to attend church at Divine Mercy Parish, where he was a parishioner for over 54 years. He enjoyed trips to the casino, his loving dog, Toby, and his wife and children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters; and four brothers. Tali is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Angelica DeJesus of Vineland; two sons, Neftali DeJesus, Jr. (Tammy) and Anthony DeJesus, Sr. (Carmen); seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 9:30am until 11:45am at Divine Mercy Parish/Imaculado Corazon de Maria, 410 S. 8th Street, Vineland. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12:00pm at the church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ.
