Obituary of Grace H D'Augustine

Grace H. D'Augustine, 87 of Vineland, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Vineland on January 30, 1935, to the late Joseph & Helen (Ritondo) Montesanto, Grace was a lifelong resident. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of 63 years, Carmen, and their firstborn daughter, Donna Gonzalez; her son-in-law, Fermin Gonzalez; and her two sisters, Teresa Mihalecz and Carol Bright. Grace is survived by her son, Carmen D'Augustine II (Tammy) of Vineland; her two daughters, Kathleen D'Augustine (Jim) of Vineland and Lori Benivegna (Bill) of Vineland; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Grace was a beautiful, wonderful, loving mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She spent her life taking care of her family and being there for everyone. She enjoyed being with her husband, Carmen, whom she missed dearly. She enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who walked through her door. We will always remember her standing at the window to wave goodbye to you as you left. She loved her dog, Brandy, and missed him dearly. She had many furry grandbabies that she adored spending time with. She loved her flower garden and feeding and watching the birds. She was the queen of our family who is now our very special angel. Grace was loved by all who met her and knew her. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
