My most heartfelt condolences to the Orlando the family everyone who loved Flor.
She was beautiful inside and out.
Flor was like my aunt even though we didn’t share a blood connection she was family to me.
My mom Clara and dad Tino adored her I adore her.
She was instrumental in my parents moving to Vineland and starting a better life for them selfs. Flor was all about family. I remember the wonderful family gatherings parties the food the love the laughter we all celebrated joyfully.
She was an entrepreneur owning businesses when woman were supposed to be just stay at home moms.
I remember as a little kid my mom taking me to visit Flor at a store she had opened on Ave C in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan. It was a lovely store she had set up all her clothes. I remember all the bright colors.
She turned to my mom and said why don’t you and Támara pick something out for school.
I picked out a green dress that had flowers
Wow! A beautiful gift. She was very generous I wore that dress to school proudly.
She was ahead of her time a go getter who successfully moved through her life.
I honor and respect her so much I looked up to her.
She was a champion for those that needed a place to eat or advice to better themselves. I remember as a kid sitting in her room and confiding in her my problems or dreams. She would always listen and give me her point of view or guidance or just a loving smile or hug.
Other than my parents she was the only one who said to me I’m so proud of all you have done with you life.
I morn her.
Even though I hadn’t spent time with her in the past few years.
She has always been in my thoughts and prayers.
I know how much she is loved by all who knew her.
Rest In Peace Flor.
Fly with the Angels.
I Love you
