James Anthony "Jimmy" Carletto, 61, of Fairton, NJ passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. James was the adopted son of the late Costante "Butch" Carletto and Eda (Michelon) Carletto of East Vineland. James grew up working on his family's farm in East Vineland - Carletto Farms. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Vineland. James was a graduate of Buena Regional High School - Class of 1978. James was on the wrestling team and graduated from the diesel mechanic program in high school. He would often repair vehicles in the barn on his family's farm for family and friends. For many years, James was a volunteer fire fighter for the East Vineland Fire Department. James worked as a glass tool worker for several years for Lab Glass in Vineland. In 1982, James found his passion for truck driving. He loved driving semi-trucks and made deliveries all over the USA. James was proud to be a truck driver working for several different trucking companies and as an owner operator. James was a fan of NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. James is survived by his daughter, Anne (James) Stone, of Orlando, FL; his son, Christopher (Jazzie) Carletto, of Orlando, FL. James was the father of the late James Anthony Carletto, Jr. - who passed away as a toddler in New Jersey. James is survived by his stepdaughter, Jessica (Michael) Ballard of Millville, NJ and his grandson, David Ballard; his former wives, Lois Schooley of Orlando, FL and Jean Herman of Vineland, NJ. Funeral services will be held privately.
