Obituary of Brenda Lee Wood
Please share a memory of Brenda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Brenda Lee Wood, 51 of Vineland, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at the SJ Regional Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Puerto Rico, Brenda was an aspiring and inspirational artist since she was a child. She enjoyed painting, drawing, crafts, sewing, singing and dancing. If Brenda could reach up and paint the sky, she would create a piece of art large enough for the world to see. She loved her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and every smiling baby she came in contact with. Brenda loved quality time with her family and spent her time making people laugh. She was quick to make friends, and kept those friends close to her for all of her life. Brenda's affection and care for others before herself was beautiful just like her heart for her family. She loved to help people and never asked for anything in return. She will be missed by all of those who have been touched by her love. To Brenda, everyone was family.
Predeceased by her mother, Milagros Perez and father, Juan Torres.
She is survived by her children, Tony Alicea, Phillip Wood, and Sheree Wood; brother, Leslie Caraballo; sister-in-law and best friend, Madonna Caraballo; step-father, Eusebio Arroyo Quiles; ex-husband, James Wood; grandchild, Arturo Wood; longtime friends and family, Jose, Dolly and Chicky Vasquez; nieces and nephews, Alaina Caraballo, Anthony, Tamara, Elijah and Joseph Vasquez.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
