Obituary of Julio Aponte

Julio Aponte Rosario, also known as "Junior", "Negro" or "JP" to his loved ones, 51, of Vineland, began his eternal healthy life on October 3, 2022.

He was born on April 4, 1971, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to predeceased parents, mother Adela Rosario and father Julio Aponte, Sr. Julio eventually relocated from Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1987 to Vineland, New Jersey where he spent the majority of his life. He graduated from Vineland High School. Julio enjoyed listening to music from his culture, cooking and singing. He was an amazing salsa dancer. A few things he cherished the most and spoke highly of were his mother Adela, daughter Kristina, son Christian and God.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Aponte-Cruz; son Christian Maldonado; brothers Javier Aponte and Sergio Aponte; his nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. A service of remembrance will follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
