Luis A. Ortiz, 63 peacefully made his way to Heaven on the morning of December 3, 2022.
Luis is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 43 years, Barbara Keener-Ortiz; his sons, Luis Ortiz Jr., Eric Ortiz, Steven Ortiz, Christopher McFarland; and his One and Only daughter, Breanna Ortiz. Sister, Margarita Arce and husband Carlos Arce; brother, Carmelo Ortiz and wife Aida Ortiz; sister, Luz Melendez and husband Wilfredo Melendez; his Babygirl, Aaliyah; grandson, Adrian Ortiz; Tias, Tio, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Luis is predeceased by his mother and father, Etelvina Rivera and Carmelo Ortiz. Luis was a Retired Veteran, proudly serving 20 years in The United States Army. He was a problem solver and nothing was too big, because if he couldn't, duct tape could! Luis is best known for cracking jokes, being the life of the party, and had a smile which could light up any room. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 10:00am-11:30pm followed by a funeral service at 11:30am at DeMarco – Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will follow at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell, New Jersey.
