Obituary of Angelina Bonanno

Angelina (Sammartino) Bonanno, of Buena, passed away at home on Sunday, December 4, 2022. The wife of the late Joseph "Bucky" Bonanno, she was born on July 13, 1927 to Vincenzo and Luisa Sammartino. Tootsie, as she was affectionately known, and Bucky were married for 61 years at the time of his death in 2016. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank Sammartino, Camille Stringari, Margaret Dalesandro, Palmina Morris, John Sammartino and Albert Sammartino. In her early years she worked for Jersey Package Co. Later she was employed by the Vineland Board of Education as a long time and much beloved library aide for Max Leuchter and Cunningham Schools. Her life revolved around caring for her family. She is survived by her sons, Joseph and John Bonanno; her sisters-in-law, Mary Bonanno and Ann Sammartino and many loving nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Michael's Church in Minotola. Funeral Services were private. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S.
