Obituary of Gladys Giorno

Gladys R. Giorno (nee Bonato), 88, of Vineland, NJ, passed away in the early morning of December 8, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center Vineland. Mrs. Giorno was born in Vineland on September 20, 1934. She was the wife of Mario N. Giorno who died in 2003. She was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first. Gladys also loved going out to eat and heading to the casino with friends. Nothing was more enjoyable than being surrounded by family and friends and talking up a storm. She was an ardent animal lover who never met a cat or dog she didn't like. She will be missed. Gladys is survived by her daughter and son; Deborah A. Giorno, Vineland, NJ and Mario S. Giorno, Lansdowne, PA, and his wife Karen Heenan. Her family thanks all of her care givers at Genesis Millville Center who helped our mother through COVID and severe dementia. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 9am to 10:30am at St. Padre Pio Parish, 4680 Dante Ave, Vineland, NJ followed by a funeral mass at 11AM. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland.
