Obituary of Juan Roberto Lopez

Juan Roberto Lopez, 78, of Vineland, went to sleep with the Lord at his residence on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Juan was a graduate of Alfred E. Smith High School in Bronx, NY. He had worked as an auto mechanic for the New York City Sanitation Department for 25 years and had served with the New York Army National Guard for 38 years. Juan was a member of the Emmanuel Bible Church in Vineland. Juan loved spending time with his family, especially his wife. He enjoyed gardening and was a devoted church goer. He is predeceased by his parents Roberto and Emilia (Sanchez) Lopez and his brother Eliott Lopez. Juan is survived by his wife of 59 years Rosa (Rivera) Lopez, two sons, Robert Lopez and wife Dixie of CA, and Ruben Lopez and wife Elizabeth of PA, three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kimberly, and Ruben, two great grandchildren, Angelina and James, one brother, Angel Luis Lopez of Puerto Rico, one sister, Ada Rivera of FL, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm and on Wednesday morning from 9-10am at the funeral home.
